POST-PRODUCTION

LNBA is currently in post-production, i.e. we are editing it. I am extremely pleased with the material that we have and the only problem is keep it down to its target length of 10 minutes!

A rough cut will be ready by Christmas (this year) and the final cut is aimed for May 2009.

Look out for news of the PREMIERE!

Thanks for your continued support!
SHOT!

Last Sunday the shoot was concluded for the short film Inferno. We had a lovely wrap party on a gorgeous terrace in Chacarita (thanks David and Juan), sprayed champagne and generally worked off the pent-up stress of 6 long days shooting. I am thrilled with the material I have and post-production is starting now in BsAs to create a teaser that can be used to raise the post-production budget.

I'd like to thank EVERYONE who contributed to the production of INFERNO - everyone worked so hard and with such good energy to get us to this situation. Can't wait to have something to show you all for your efforts!

Love to all,

David

CAST

BRIAN KUZMA “SIMON”
Brian Kuzma has been acting since 1979, when he was reportedly born, in the USA. He studied acting at Washington State University (among other things), although he admits his real acting qualification comes from watching a number of Ninja movies during his teenage years. That - and making regular performances on Cabal 8, a Washington State comedy network. He spent time in Paraguay working for the Peace Corps as a small business advisor, and now lives in Buenos Aires.

CAROLINA EDELSTEIN “KATE”
Carolina was born in Argentina but grew up in the States where she studied acting. She has brought her love of dance, sports and animals to a variety of acting experiences on stage and screen in North and South America. She now lives in Buenos Aires.

JIMENA RUIZ ECHAZU “MYSTERY GIRL.”
Jimena Ruiz Echazú is a Buenos Aires-born actress, teacher and literary translator. She studied acting at Augusto Fernandes´ School, Agustín Alezzo's Studio and is currently training with Marcelo Savignone. She was a cast member and road manager in the theatre company The Performers (2004-2007), played the leading role in the feature film "Paranoia 314" (working title - USA) and is currently a cast member of a new animated series produced by Fox Channel.

SCOTT ALEXANDER YOUNG “PIERS RUFUS VESTRY”
After taking up acting a couple of years ago after a dinner party dare, Scott has played a KGB spy in Ridley Scott produced miniseries The Company, a lawyer in the biopic Eichmann, and a successful businessman in a series of Samsung commercials. As Voice Actor, he's worked for FX, the UK Travel Channel, and even Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers. Scott is a native of New Zealand.

INTRODUCING...

Hello INFERNO-lovers everywhere!

Let me introduce myself - I'm David Labi and I'm Director of a horror-suspense short called INFERNO, written by the renowned pensmith Matt Graham.

It's a morality tale woven from the sultry women, cobbled streets and expat decadence of Buenos Aires. In short, it's an autobiography. Only joking. The script is so searingly hot that it makes a hot potato seem like a snowball.

Shooting is planned for the first week of October and things are starting to fall into place. We have confirmed an incredible location - an old mansion that belonged to one of the ex-Presidents of Argentina - a dilapidated old Spanish-colonial style hacienda threaded with devious corridors and dusty halls... Will be posting up some photos here soon.

Final casting (see below if you're interested!) is on Friday and I'm really looking forward to have the main parts in place so that I can start exploring the hideous traumatic past that every actor rightfully possesses.

That's all for now - thanks for your support, and keep watching!
